Visitor Policy

Interview with Frank and Adam

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Frank: I could get visitors once per week unless my attorney would come then it would be more often.
Adam: two visitors a week that is all you are allowed.they do allow children when accompanied by an adult

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Frank: The check in process was not too bad but it was somewhat lengthy because you had to wait for other people to check in and some of them didn't have their papers together.
Adam: yes they take your id and process you from there and run you for warrants.then you wait half an hour to see the visitor before you see them.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Frank: We had glass between us and a small telephone to use in a small cubicle. It was hot and the air was kind of stuffy. Usually when my girlfriend would come to see me, we would have a lot of tension and there could be arguing and that caused tension with the guards.
Adam: theres a window for visitors.and its the size of a cell wih a camera facing the inmateand you talk on phones which are also recordedthey never clean these visiting rooms theres hand prints all over the window its quite dirty.it also is very impersonal the visits are 15-30 minutes long
