JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Katy: Keep them in money or they are not going to make
it. Sarah: I would tell my family that it seems worse while
there, but in reality it could be a lot worse.
The officers are just doing their jobs, it is
nothing personal. Laura: Try to get back on the block as soon as possible!
The holding cells are terrible! Request to go to
the hole for a week, a week in the hole is heaven
compared to a week in a holding cell
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Katy: Don't do what you're thinking about doing to get
there. Sarah: It seems worse while there, but in reality it
could be a lot worse. The officers are just doing
their jobs, it is nothing personal. Take
advantage of any extra things available. AA, NA,
GED, ETC. Laura: make the best of it, the CO's are trying to be
cocky cause it's part of their job, do what you're
supposed to do and forget about you're rights, in
jail, it doesn't exist
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Katy: Gibson County, Tennessee
Sarah: I have been to the following rehabs: Clermont
Recovery Center, CATT, Crossroads, East Indiana
Treatment Center (Methadone), Bethesda North
(medical detox), and First Step Home (long term
residential. I have not been in any additional
lock in facility and am now sober so I hope to
never become a resident again. Laura: I went to the STAR rehab in Portsmouth, Ohio
