Interview with Brian, Marty, Linda, Mary and Myron
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior? Brian: I got put on house arrest at my sentencing
based on good behavior while in jail. I was
sentenced to house arrest as part of having good
behavior in jail and not having any innocents
while in there etc. Marty: I was released due to a magistrate hearing Linda: no Mary: acj does not recognize good behavior.
It the judges discretion Myron: Absolutely not as I said no good
behavior left to earn, got lucky to get
picked up by a program unexpectedly if
that counts!
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior? Brian: I believe for good behavior that you can get a few
months off your sentence for good behavior. I
believe I saw that posted at the Jail Pods on
that. I believe that your Probation Officer can
have you relisted for good behavior. Marty: Not sure. Linda: not sure Mary: I do not really know Myron: The county no longer gave time off for
good behavior hasn't in years from what
I was informed of by staff.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior? Brian: I did not get in any fights, I was good with other
inmates on my Pod. I complied with what the Guards
on the Units. I played games on the Pod and did
other activities like played basketball. I wrote
letters to my family to get put on house arrest
and have my detainer lifted. I wrote to the Public
Defender to try and find out about my cases. I
went to Catholic activities when they were
announced by the Guard. I paid off most of court
stuff and my restitution. Marty: My guess would be:
1:Fighting with a inmate
2:Fighting with a C.O. (BIG no-no)
3:Being disrepectful. Linda: fighting Mary: you need to mot fight. No contraband
and really it's up to the jidge for good
time. I have never seen it but I guess
it's possible Myron: Again, none existed as workers there did
so for extra food, few more minutes
outside of lock-in for count time. Best
was a surprise bail out or a program
picking some one up early.
