Good Behavior

Interview with Scott, Elna, Todd and Guy

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Scott: No i was released to probation on my last court date
Elna: I wasn't in there long enough to get out early on anything.
Todd: no
Guy: no...was not allowed to work and earn good time. sucked

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Scott: If you can get a job you can get a day for every day you work other than that you get eight days a month
Elna: I'm not sure, I've never done that much time.
Todd: if you work in the facility you can get a day off for every day you work
Guy: not sure...was never told wasn't allowed to work

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Scott: Not getting into fights, not getting caught with contraband, being asleep during head count refusing to lockdown and obeying what a officer tells you to do. Destruction of their property
Elna: I didn't see anyone get out early, I did however see a few people get taken to solitary for acting violent or incoherent when approached by a guard.
Todd: just stay out of trouble..yes i seen many inmates lose good time
Guy: judge has to order it. then the jail clerk has to enter it in the computer which doesn't always happen. i hear it helps to pass the time better
