JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Burt: Just do your time given and dont let the time do
you bc it will get to you. make you go nuts.
reminising on the free world Daniel: The main thing is that it's not all it is hyped up
to be on tv. There is a common stereotype that
jail is where everybody gets raped and beat up,
but as long as you just remain a respectable
person and a respector, you will be just fine. The
waiting to find out what's going to happen is the
hardest part, and after that it's less
stressful.... unless you get a life sentence. David: Send letters and money for the commissary book. Donald: It is not as bad as it may seem. They are at least
safe and secure and are being taken care of to
certain standards. They will be fine while in
there.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Burt: make your family or friends have a acount setup
with evercom as soon as your booked bc you will
want to make that call sometimes. and you only
get 1 free fone call the time you are booked. Daniel: Don't go into jail trying to be the "hardest
gangster out there," cause people will call it and
find out if you really are. So don't act that way
unless you truly are and are ready to prove it.
Just be yourself and your time will go easier than
trying to live up to a predetermined stereotype. David: Keep calm and keep cool. Don't do anything
drastic. In other words be on good behaviour and
try to get out as soon as possible. Donald: Be thankful that it is this jail over others I have
seen. This was nicer, well run, and didn't mind it
at all if I was going to have to do some time.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. David: No others. Donald: Lou Sterit
