JM: Which jail did you visit?
MS cha: downtown king county correctional facility

JM: How long ago was your visit?
MS cha: today

JM: How many times did you visit?
MS cha: 6

JM: How do you go about making an appointment to see an inmate?
MS cha: called the phone line even though it takes 30 minutes to answer

JM: How long did check-in process take?
MS cha: not very long but people behind the counter are somewhat yelling and rude

JM: Were the guards accommodating?
MS cha: some of them

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
MS cha: it was okay (its my first time visiting someone in jail)

JM: How long was your visit? Did the guards ever allow you to take extra time?
MS cha: NO and they today they took 20 minutes just to open the door wasting our visiting time which is very important to families.

JM: What was the parking situation like?
MS cha: its in downtown so like normally it would be crowded,. expensive $8 for 2 hours then got a ticket for $39 cause of 5 minutes over. wow.

JM: What advice would you offer to somebody who is going to visit an inmate in this jail?
MS cha: CALL FIRST and make sure of visiting hours/schedules, avoid accessories cause youre gonna have to take it off losing time for visit.guards/staff are not very helpful but today today this african/black lady was pretty nice. compared to the other ones.
