Interview with Collin, Robbie, Michelle and Lorrie

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Collin: Orange shirt, orange pants. I brought my own socks and underwear that I washed by hand every night. If you don't have white they take it way.
Robbie: you can have underwear socks and undershirts but they have to be white or they wont let you have them.
Michelle: That answer varies by which guards are working. Some let you bring in your white shirt, if any, that you have on when coming to jail. Some let you wear your bra and panties and some make you take them off and wear nothing especially if not white.
Lorrie: You could only bring your on underwear but they had to be white and your own socks white also

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Collin: That was it. Just what they gave us.
Robbie: i was issued an orange shirt an orange pair of pants and a pair of flip flops. no underwear or t shirts just the jumpsuit.
Michelle: They would issue you an orange top and orange pants and they would come around and change them, if you get in line twice a week.
Lorrie: orange jumpsuit and if you had committed a murder you wore a pink and white stripped suit and if you were a sex offender you wore a hot pink suit

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Collin: You could get T-shirts underwear or socks from the commissary but nobody could bring in anything for you.
Robbie: no. you got your orange jumpsuit and thats it nothing else is permitted.
Michelle: Yes, panties, if they took your panties when coming in then some guards would give you a pair of fish net panties.
Lorrie: No you all got the same jail issue clothes and flip flops

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Collin: I think they were in blue. That's another time when the guys went crazy.. anytime they saw those women.
Robbie: i dont think so but i'm not sure.
Michelle: No, all got the same and even the same underwear.
Lorrie: No we all wore he same uniform.
