Interview with Jerry and Pat

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Jerry: you where not allowed to wear the clothes you where arrestedthey provided you with there own pink underwear and socks
Pat: you wear their clothes which was no exceptions underwear and socks you can have but white

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Jerry: pink socks pink underwear and orange shirt and orange pants and also some sandals in the back with the letters of durango jail even though they where old
Pat: black/white stripes too me it look like oversized scrubs were very worn out where other inmates probably used the clothing before you so the state can save on budget

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Jerry: you would only get two pairs of each clothing and you have to give them the clothes for them to wash
Pat: you all wear the same- the guards new if you werent in unform

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Jerry: they where the same i don't know about their underwear though
Pat: no- they all have same wardrobe
