JM: How many different blocks were there? Jerry: they had like 6 blocks Pat: i dont remeber i didnt pass attention
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Jerry: they where called D1-D8 which was what the
building was called Pat: i cant remember names- i do know they used\
pc alot for protective lock up
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Jerry: they had inmates that where in maximum security in
different block because they dont want them around
other people because they know what there capable
of and didn't want other people getting hurt Pat: dui assaults drugs prostitutes
the murders were in another prison along with
death row-
these were minor offenses- some gang members but
the major went too yuma
trafficking a police officer with firearm
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Jerry: that the nicest blocks where the little ones
because it was less people and the worst block was
the warehouse one where there's like 300 in one
big open warehouse where they would be always in
lock down you where most to get in trouble in the
warehouse than the small pods because one person
gets in trouble or does something stupid evryone
would get in trouble Pat: some girls were real friendly and you show respect
they respect you
fights and nasty assault by guard
Guards dont play around they are on their toes
watching every move you make
they have their favorites who gets away with alot
They bring in things for inmates if you have cash
on your books
