JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Jeffery: Order books that you even mildly felt like reading. Anything you can
think of and afford. I read a stack of books during six months that
stood taller than six feet. Write often. Try to keep a little money on
their books for snacks. Serena: dont worry too much about them because this jail is
very pleasant for a jail and the guards are
relatively nice and so the inmates are relatively
happy and easy going. Gary: Just take a deep breath, your loved ones are going
to be totally fine! Tell them to really treat the
CO's with respect, and it will make time easier!
SHOUT-OUT TO MS. K, MS. C, Ms. Anderson, DOMER,
Clealan, Tiffany and Tyler!!! LMAO!
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Jeffery: Join the worker pod. It keeps you busy and active during your stay
and offers many rewards for your time and effort, like extra food,
more yard and possibly even outside work. Serena: just know that other jails are way worse, and that
as unpleasant as it seems, you are actually getting
a good experience so hang in there and everything
will be all right. Gary: Try to get a job. It really does pass the time by
so damn quickly!
Don't worry about this place. Lake Tahoe jail is
just like summer camp, you don't wanna be there,
but you still have to say there and do it. There
is really no 'bad' people in there, just a bunch
of drunks, stoners, tweekers, nothing like what
they show on TV!
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Jeffery: No others. Serena: i have been to san francisco jail. Gary: None. This was my first...and my LAST time ever
going to a place like this!!
