JM: How often could you receive visitors? Jeffery: Twice or three times a week? Im not certain, but i do recall my
mother being denied a visit because my girlfriend at the time visited
one time too many. Serena: i believe you could receive visitors about 3 times a
week i was lucky and had some visitors. Gary: For GP, you get 3 visitations a week for an hour.
If you are a worker, you get UNLIMITED visits! The
catch: only 1 visit for 1 hour from the same
person daily. But still, UNLIMITED visits!!
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you? Jeffery: No. It was pretty straight-forward. No photography. No nudity. No.
cell phones. They were 60 min visits. Sometimes two people could
split the visit, 30 min a piece. Serena: i dont know i never asked them about a check-in
process at all. i never even thought about it. just
assumed they had to wait a while before i can out. Gary: Not really. Most of my family/friends that saw me
said it was like a 10 minute wait.
JM: What was the visiting environment like? Jeffery: Cold and rigid. Steel netted glass in between you and your loved
ones with a phone cord that always seemed about two or three
inches too short so your necks were sore by the time the visit was
through. Cement stools. Graffiti in pencil or scratch marks lined the
walls inside. Serena: there was glass between you and the visitor and
telephones. my telephone had such a short cord that
i couldnt sit on the seat of the chair that was
there, i had to smoosh my face up close to the
glass. i noticed that the visitor had a regular
length cord.
