JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Sarah: Make the most of what you have... they do not
pamper you ... & they can't keep you forever...
but... do the crime... pay the time. Paul: Keep a little money on their books. it gives them
extra food, ans trading material inside. Coffee is
worth more than it's weight in gold. I have seen
meals traded for Ramen noodles and for coffee Allan: Don't take a plea deal, don't talk to anyone and
save yourself the trouble and go straight to Ad.
Seg. Some of The staff are as dirty as the inmates Erik: First off letters are good. It's nice to have
money on your books to buy toothpaste shower
shooe and some othe minimum stuff. Accept phone
calland find out the differnt carriers because
they're not all the same
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Sarah: Stay Out Of Trouble! Paul: Go in with cash in your pocket, and immediately
ask how to order commissary and when delivery date
is. if you are out of something, and have to get
it from another inmate on credit, interest is
100%. If someone misses commissary because of a
punishment, get them something. Good will is very
valuable among inmates Allan: Don't take a plea deal, don't talk to anyone and
save yourself the trouble and go straight to Ad.
Seg. don't count on staff to be discrete, they
enjoy the drama too much Erik: Have some cash on you. Stay calm it won;t last
forever. Ask for a job. Try not to disagree with
anybody you really don't want to have to fight.
Do't snivle. It's not aaractive and will make
them pick on you
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Paul: sorry, this has been my only significant
incarseration Allan: no Erik: Orange county jail,Ca
