JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Ryan: In P pod they wear brown clothes and orange
shoes. In the G pod you wear white and black.
In booking you wear blue. B pod- I'm not sure
what they wear and I never saw anyone in the F
pod. Angel: None Dale: Just basic whites. They don't offer nothing unless
you work. So your in blues and hopefully you can
scrounge some whites up. Peter: White socks, white underwear & white tshirt. You
can also keep your prescription glasses and your
wedding band if you can't get it off.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Ryan: See above. Angel: Blue shrubs they do not give u shirts or
socks or sweater Dale: You are issued brown slides. Blue Shirt thick cloth,
and a pair of stretch blue pants, thick cloth. Not
too good for the clothing I'd have to say. Peter: Blue pants and shirts and jail slides. We could
wear a white t under our uniform or our shower
slides but that was all unless you were a trustee.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Ryan: No Angel: No Dale: T-Shirts, people often sell T-Shirts they're a hot
commodity. Commissary offers some whites but not
good white boxers so you got to buy them from
someone who has them. Peter: Just ones that fit and were not torn or stained.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Ryan: Didn't see the women. Angel: No Dale: No, all the clothing is the same. Peter: No, the uniform was the same.
