JM: How many different blocks were there? Ryan: There are 32 cells in a unit, 16 upstairs and 16
downstairs. There are 14 units contained in 4
pods. Angel: I knew of 3 in the female jail Dale: Medical, HnS (High Security/Juvenile), F-Dorm
(Females) G1, G2, G3, G4, T-Pod (Trustee). Annex
Building is 4 dorms I believe. Peter: There were eight cell blocks
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Ryan: G pod (4 units), P pod (2 units), B pod (the
box), F pod (3 units) life sentences, both men
and women are in F pod if they are serving life
sentences. Angel: I don't remember Dale: See the Jail layout above. I wrote them down there. Peter: H&S, Dpod, Tpod, G1, G2, G3, G4 were all of the
pods
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Ryan: Trustees, or inmates with certain sentences are
the P pod. They have more seniority over the
other inmates. They get to watch TV on
different channels, and they work in the
kitchen. Angel: One were inmates going to prison Dale: Just different security levels. Females and
Juveniles are in a Seperate Pod. Juvenile movement
locks down everything. Other then that just my
Classification. High Security, Medium-High, Medium,
Low. That's generally how they do it. Misdemeanors
are seperated. Peter: H&S- high security, Dpod-disciplinary, Tpod,
trustee pod for inmates that were sentenced to
work,G1, G2, G3, G4 are all general pods for
those awaiting sentencing or waiting to be bail
out
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Ryan: P pod is the best one because there are TVs and
more privileges. Angel: Me Wiggins was very stern and although I
believe she may have meant to be stern
so people don't want to come back she
often made a lot of people cry and was
very vulgar for example she would tell
girls "your pussy stanks go was your
pussy" or "pick.your pussy up.off the floor
it's dragging" Dale: They all probably been repainted and modeled. There
not too bad. I guess looking back on it I've seen
alot worse. G3 kinda isn't so good because they're 2
man rooms and have the case so it gets real loud.
Other then the noise everything is fairly decent. NO
TVS which is a big thing that is crazy. Peter: In the trustee pod you got to have two man cells,
you got extra food privileges, you also got all
day EY(exercise yard), and they don't take $2 a
day for your meals.
BUT, you have to wake up at 2am to go to work and
not get paid. Also it is extremely hard to see
any medical personnel.
