JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Darrin: you can have 3 t-shirts, 3 pair of socks, 3 pair
of underwear; they must be all solid white and new
in the package. Jessica: You have 72hrs from the time your in jail you get
3 pairs of socks 3 pairs of underwear 3 shirts 3
bras (sports bras) and a set of long johns all
have to be white. Now if you didn't have anyone
to bring you any you could buy some on
commissary. But if you had neither you had none.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Darrin: for the most part they looked and felt like thick
heavy duty scrubs. due to the age of most of them
they have gotten thin faded and usually have had
some sort of repair done to them. Jessica: Yes we had green scrub uniforms. The pants came
in m-5x same as shirts m-5x they where nothing
fancy and sometimes you didn't get your size they
wouldn't fit right. In this county that is all
you get one uniform.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Darrin: only newer cloths. most people only get old worn
out tore up cloths unless they know the laundry
trustee. Jessica: Well not really they only have the one kind.
Unless your a trustee they wear orange scrub
uniforms...pants and shirts.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Darrin: yes there were different cloths for men and women.
women and trusties get orange while regular men
get blue Jessica: nope not all everyone wears the same except
trustees men and women trustees wear orange.
