Interview with Ian, Ron and Bodie

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Ian: You're issued 2 T-shirts, two pair of pants, two shirt. All blue.
Ron: Blue tops and bottoms with a white shirt and white underwear.
Bodie: white shirts underwear and socks. and blue scrubs shirt and pants . white shirt could be worn in cell or under your blues if in max there colors were orange yellow or red I believe. Thats your only choice unless you are doing work release program in kiesel and they inform you on what you can and can't wear. you had shower shoes that were rubber sandal like flip flops you wear in the shower to not get a fungus and what not . or you can buy tennis shoes with velcro straps .

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Ian: That was it.
Ron: Blue tops and bottoms. we could not come out of our cells without those on.
Bodie: your scrubs were main have pants and shirt that you must be in to go to class or visits and court. you get certain amount of each and change them otu twice a week.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Ian: Only shoes.
Ron: Yes most of the guys licked bigger clothes than they needed so xl xxl xxxl were in high demand
Bodie: no all the same inmates look for the newer ones or older depending on comfort or ones that dnt got lettering that showes as much. sometimes peopele get the really huge size cuz they are newer and not worn much. you have so many and can only trade that item out if you have one to trade. if not you have to request it or a form. you can get

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Ian: They were the same color.
Ron: except for bras for girls no
Bodie: no its not all the same scrubs washed together as well as sock and towels and whatnot they only difference is the underwear. I worked laundry and we wash things all together and fold them just the same the only way you can tell if the guys have worn them would be they smelled worse and had pit stains but females could do the same just not as bad
