JM: How often could you receive visitors? Ian: Once a week. Ron: once a week for one hour. Bodie: as family and friends twice a week. On set days
and times for that section and block. speacial
visits attorney and things of that nature could
be as many as needed i believe .
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you? Ian: I think it takes about ten minutes. Ron: They never really talked to me about it. Bodie: you had to be there i think 30 mins before your
visit time as long as you were there in time and
had your ID wasn't too bad there has been times
that something has happened and delayed or
canceled visits but thats out of inmates control
depends on what happens in the jail if the whole
jail is on lockdwn for many different reason
they can cancel visits or cuz behind schedule it
varies .
JM: What was the visiting environment like? Ian: The visting room in Weber are all done on video
camera. You sit up next to a monitor and you pick
up a phone and talk to the monitor. You actually
have your visit in the same room as the other
inamtes. Not very private. Ron: it was hard to hear because there were so many
people having visits at the same time and there were
not telephones like you see on the movies. Bodie: it has changed since my stay there . it was loud
and glass all scratched and messy so u would be
able to see through plexi glass at time it would
get so loud that ruin the visit or other inmates
would fight with there visit not caring that
they were loud you are in a tiny area for there
to be yelling through glass to talk. I now heard
they have monitors screens and phones you talk
to thats nice yets sucks cuz its not like there
in person per sae
