Interview with Bruce, Jen, Crystal, Allison and Deanne
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior? Bruce: No, I had to serve the whole six months in the tents
before being released. Jen: My sentence by the judge didnt allow for me to get
off early Crystal: No. That was not an option in tent city you served your time. Allison: No never got off for good behavor I wish
. Deanne: No, I was not offerered early release because of
good behavior.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior? Bruce: There was no time off for good behavior. Jen: they are called 2 for 1 meaning for every day
serviced they receive credit for 2 and each day
served can also take money off restitution owed Crystal: I don't believe that is an option in tent city Allison: I jave no clue . Deanne: I don't know, I don't think it was applicable
tomorrow.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior? Bruce: There was no time off for good behavior in the tents
because everybody was on work release. It was
possible to have the work release revoked and be
sent to the 24 hour side of the tents though Jen: Im not sure what type of actions could cause you to
lose time for your 2 for 1's with the exception of
being in work release and being violated. At that
time if you violate you have to go to tent city and
lose work release privildge Crystal: If you were caught drunk or high coming back into the tents then
your work release sentence was suspended and you were taken to
another area of tent city that was separate from the work release
tents. Allison: Yea but that was only for people with the
work furlough program.or for the drug
program and u have to have good
behavior and stay good Deanne: Not applicable because I did not witness anyone
getting out early . I would think that good
behavior, no write ups and possibly a plan for
when your are realsed would help.
