Interview with Erik and Clayton
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Erik: 90 days in jail, and rehab.
Clayton: Sentenced to one year but I served 8 months.
Its not considered good time... You couldn't get
in trouble enough to lose it. Most people serve
8/12 months of their sentence.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Erik: Yes, I was in booking for about 4 hours. It was
fine. They have chairs. You just sit there and
wait for your turn and they book you in. They
don't put you in an overcrowded holding cell
like they do in other jails.
Clayton: There were a lot of festival people there but
also county people. They were trying to tell me
how I was going to get beat up. But this wasn't
my first cha cha and I wasn't scared. I was in
there for 8 hours. There were 13-15 of us in
there in the holding cell.
