JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Elizabeth: The facilities with church, the ones with a gyms where you can
workout and kill the time and ones with certain kind of
programs that you can apply for and get into to kill time and for
inmates who doesn't have their high school diplomas to have
some schooling in the facilities for those who didn't graduate or
finish school
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Elizabeth: I wouldn't say that you had regular access to entertainment it
really wasn't entertainment in jail like I said I liked basketball
and we were able to go outside and play basketball and able
to go to the gym to workout, them the things I enjoy , but being
in jail there wasn't nothing that I would call entertainment
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Elizabeth: No I didn't have a hard time to stay in shape I stayed in shape
because I stayed in the gym all the time working out
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Elizabeth: Yes we were allowed to go outside , we played basketball
outside and I love to play basketball that is my sport, everyday
we were allowed to go outside for an hour
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Elizabeth: Yes they provided church, and church was held on
Wednesday nights and on every Sunday, church was good
because the pastor was excellent that came in to preach
