JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Ron: I WORE THE STINKING CLOTHS I WENT IN THERE
WITH!!!! THERE WERE NO CHANGES OF CLOTHS OFFERED
TO ME mike: Jumpsuits 2 per week. Although when i got to the
jail i had to wear the same jumper for 10 days
even after asking the c.o's for a new one. Brian: On the commissary you can buy additional shoes,
socks, and underwear. But i just used what was
provided to me. I may have bought slides in order
to wear in the shower.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Ron: NO AS I WAS NOT IN THE FACILITY LONG ENOUGH FOR A
UNIFORM TO BE OFFERED!!!! mike: Blue jumpsuit with white writeing on the back
that says clay county jail. Brian: We were issued a pair of white sock, a pair of
pant, and a shirt/jacket type top. The meterial
was light to heavy. These uniforms was green in color.
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Ron: NOT TO MY KNOWING BUT I DID SEE SOME WALKING
AROUND mike: They are all the same Brian: Inmates for some reason wanted the newest and
cleanest looking clothes. This was mostly to look
presentable when they have visits.
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Ron: I WAS UNABLE TO SEE ANY WOMAN AS WE WERE ALL
ISOLATED WITH THE MEN!! mike: No Brian: No, they pretty much had the same thing.
