Visitor Policy

Interview with Ron, mike and Brian

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Ron: NO VISITORS WERE SENT TO MY HOSTAGE CELL!!!! I DID GET A VISIT FROM A COP THOUGH!!!
mike: 1 vistor per week for a 2 hour session.
Brian: I believe there were 2 visits per week. You had to fill out a visitor form and be qualified.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Ron: CAN NOT ACCURATELY ANSWER THIS QUESTION AS IT DOES NOT APPLY TO MY PARTICULAR INCIDENTS!
mike: Not so much, they only had to be there 30 mins. early.
Brian: I don't believe so. They would check to make sure the person was on the visitor list, and they also ran a background check on the person.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Ron: THE VISITING ENVIRONMENT, WAS SMELLY AND OUTDATED!! IT ALMOST APPEARED LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF ONE OF THOSE OLD 50s B MOVIES, YOU KNOW LIKE LEVEINWORTH PENATENTURY.
mike: talking on phones through glass with handcuffs and leg irons on.
Brian: Visiting center was...just a place behind a glass where you could see your family. The main disadvantage was the fact that inmates were on both sides of you, and you had to overhear their drama if they wasn't courteous enough to talk at a normal volume. Also the CO's would sometime be standing right behind you, so privacy was minimum.
