Interview with Jim and Jerry
JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Jim: you got two vistors a week
Jerry: Twice a week for one hour through a video monitor
with two monitors for , y block right under the loud
tv.
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Jim: yes it was acomplete back ground check
Jerry: Yes, sometimes only 30 minutes, sometimes more than
an hour before we could start our visit. It
depending on who was working that day in visitation.
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Jim: a monitor and a phone there were in a different
building
Jerry: Being right under the tv on my side it was hard to
hear. The monitor was low quLity, I could barely
even see or hear. In the other building, the person
visiting had a hard time hearing me because of being
so close to other visitors and all the kids climbing
and crying.
