than marion county jail. but the food was every
bit of what we deserved at the time for
committing crimes. cold food and all taught me a
lesson that my life is not my own Cherry: The food was very bad. Some of it was completely
inedible. I did not eat for the first 2 days I was
there because the food was bad. Not all of it was
horrid but I have been in the desert and served
food Kuwiatis have prepared and eaten MRE's, this
jails food sucked. Damien: The food was very bad. Some of it was completely

food has lil flavor due to all the inmates health issues no salt or
spices added

hungrey and i didnt have any canteen to be picky
i had to eat what i had Cherry: The green beans were absolutely disgusting. I
attempted to eat them and actually threw them up
immediately. The chicken was good and anything you
can cover in pepper or salt was edible. Damien: The green beans were absolutely disgusting. I

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it? Bruce: commissary was expensive, noodles were 75cent a
piece. when you have poeple on the streets
buying ten packs of noodles for 2dollars so yes
the canteen is high, but it is also the only
store that we had Cherry: No snacks were offered. You had to have money put
on your account fro a loved one in order to
purchase commissary items. I believe that some
things were properly priced and fair while others
were ridiculously high but when you need something,
you will pay it. Damien: No snacks were offered. You had to have money put on
