JM: How often could you receive visitors? Alex: I could receive visitors once a day per visitor. Javier: Everyday from 10:30AM to 7:30PM. Kyle: I never did I wasn't in long enough for all
of that plus no one answered for me
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you? Alex: It depended on how many people were going to
certain blocks; if too many visitors came to
visit a specific block, often times some people
would not be able to visit. Also, if visitors
came during the daily lockdown times, they would
have to wait for a considerably longer amount of
time. Javier: Depending on which block you're in. The trustee
block wait is usually less than 10 minutes others
can be up to an hour. Kyle: I can't really say cause I never had
vistors since my time behind bars was
not that long then i was locked up out of
town
JM: What was the visiting environment like? Alex: The visiting environment was a large, 2-sided
lobby that held a main desk for visitor
inquiries. The lobby contained a tv on each
side and vending machines. Javier: It wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Its a small
cubicle with a glass separating you and your
visitor and you each have a phone to communicate. Kyle: I can't really say cause I never had
vistors since my time behind bars was
not that long then i was locked up out of
town But I'm sure its better then a movie
would portray it to be I never hear any
complaint bout there visiting
environment they probably was just
happy to see there family
