JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Karl: yea
Lisa: no
Zach: yes if you need meds you can get them.
Kelly: yes they were good with meds
Jeff: Yes but I didn't have any.
Maurice: Yes the med cart came threw 3 times a day plus bed meds
Jose: no you couldnt just ask for advil cuz a headache plus it took forever to be seen
Kelly: I did get to take medicines that I needed.
Ken: No. Medication would come at pill call. I had a absessed tooth that i though was going to kill me one night and couldnt get a guard to call a nurse for me for something as simple as tylenol.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Karl: med cart/nurse
Lisa: nurse, but I was not given all my medications
Zach: there is a nurse that comes around three times a day and let each inmate out to see the nurce.
Kelly: you would be called out at certain times of the day and the nurse would be there to give you your meds
Jeff: A nurse would administer them to inmates but I did not take anything while I was in there except for the occasional tylenol.
Maurice: The nurse would bring them to me and anybody else that needed them could get them too they even offerd sleep ads and toms
Jose: the med cart came in twice a day to give meds but each unit had different time es to recieve
Kelly: I took my medicine in the early morning and at night. The guard would announce med time and everyone taking them would exit their cell go to the bottom floor of the pod. We would line up and a nurse would look us up in her book and match our meds then give them to us. We had to take them in front of her.
Ken: Medications come three to four times a day when a nurse that probley took her sweet ass time chooses to come and hand them out. Also they wont give you anything unless you have signed up for sick call and seen a doctor.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Karl: hole
Lisa: I dont know
Zach: im not sure I"ve never witness it. but im sure you would go to the hole and lose all privlegse
Kelly: I never witness any one abusing there drugs so I don't know what kind of punishment would be givin for this
Jeff: I never did anything like that but I seen inmates taken to the hole and was even given new charges.
Maurice: I have no idea i have never seen anybody with drugs in jail or ever get caught with drugs so i cant give a answer
Jose: i didnt witness it but i was told it was 180 in the hole which is a room with only ur reflection
Kelly: You could possibly pick up another charge. You get sent to the hole and lose any good time you have. I only witnessed a few girls going to the hole for smoking cigarettes.
Ken: Some people was caught selling there pills and i believe was sent to segregation and where nolonger allowed there medication again.
