Interview with Karl and Willie

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Karl: Orange jumpsuit felt like Popsicle
Willie: None, they took everything from you and gave you a horrible jumpsuit that had either velcro BAD HIT (always came undone) or if u were lucky, buttons, which stayed up. They were supposed to give you 2 of all whites but sometimes messed that up or people would always steal your clothes or you wouldnt get any coming back from seg

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Karl: Just that jumpsuit.
Willie: They gave us 2 white tees, a uniform (gray) with either buttons or velcro that doesnt work and 2 pairs of underwear and 2 paris of socks...you also got sheets a blanket and a towel

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Karl: You could order underwear and T-shirts through the commissary but that was about it.
Willie: You should hold onto all of it as long as you can. But i guess i like having shirts the most. Commissary offers thermal underwear.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Karl: No they just had guys up there.
Willie: there were no women in this jail.
