Interview with John, Scott, Aaron, Bruce and Sammy

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
John: You cannot bring anything into wear bit a grey sweat suit and a pair of sneakers
Scott: YOU COULD ONLY BRING IT A SWEAT SUIT OR WHITE T SHIRT AND SOCKS THATS IT.
Aaron: I was not allowed to wear any of the clothing they make you buy it off cantine if u want other clothes.
Bruce: We could only bring in to wear things like an all grey sweat suit or sneakers.
Sammy: the only clothes you could bring in is a light grey sweat suit white socks and sneakers

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
John: It would be a uniform of one sólid color. It would have a básic shirt and básic pants. Nothing special and they are all the same.
Scott: WE HAD A SET COLOR UNIFORM FOR OUR BLOCK. THAT WOULD CONSIST OF A SHIRT THAT GOES ON OVER THE HEAD AND A PAIR OF PANTS.
Aaron: you had to wear a red prison shirt pair of red prison pants. you had to wear a pair of socks and a pair of either sneakers or flip flops.
Bruce: Our set uniform was basically a big one piece shirt,and a pair of cloth pants. We got two sets of uniforms per week. And,you have to get your rite size.
Sammy: our set uniform consisted of a one-piece shirt and cloth Jeans , every uniform was the color of your block. so every block had the color for there uniform

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
John: No there was not. Its all the same. For all men
Scott: PEOPLE WANTED WIFE BEATERS,SWEAT PANTS,SWEAT SHIRTS,AND SNEAKERS THAT WERE NEW.
Aaron: the inmate should look for socks because they go really quickly.
Bruce: The only clothes that were in demand was the pants.
Sammy: there were no assigned close in high demand just the jail issued uniform.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
John: The clothing is all the same.
Scott: IT WAS ALL THE SAME
Aaron: I don't know what the women wear, there was no women inmates there.
Bruce: No the clothing was the same
Sammy: no the clothing was not different between men and women
