JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? John: The nicest parts were the good tvs and
the way certain jail block workers kept
everything clean for the men being
housed on the unit. Also if there were
left over meals they would be given to
someone who could use them. I liked
blocks that were mainly peaceful and
laid back. Scott: EVERY BLOCK IS DIFFERENT. SOME
BLOCKS ARE RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS
AND SOME BLOCKS ARE A DANGEROUS
FIGHTING ENVIORNMENT. IT ALL
DEPENDS ON THE INMATES RUNNING
THE BLOCK. SOME BLOCKS ARE LAID
BAVK AND SOME ARENT. SOME BLOCKS
ARE CLEAN AND SOME ARENT. SOME
BLOCKS HAVE WORKING PHONES DEPEN
SOME DONT. Aaron: the nicest parts were the dinners and the worst
parts is when a fight broke out because they
locked the entire block down for hours there was
one time they locked it down for the rest of the
day that is the worst thing about the blocks I
have to say the nicest is the dinners they let us
out for 15 minutes for dinner even if the dinner
was not that good we still got out of our cells. Bruce: I remeber the nicest parts about the
different blocks were the way they
maintained there things such as
showers,phones,and privlages. They kept
there games like chess and checkers
available for everyone to use. Some
people even shared
food,magazines,sneakers,and phone
calls. But other blocks could be dirty with
broken phones and people stealing out
of your cell. Sammy: The nicest things about the blocks were
all the working phones. People love to
talk on the phone so its important to
have all phones working. Also some
blocks had nice big flat screen television.
The worst things were dirty showers and
tables. Dirty microwaves. non working
phones. Broken windows
