Interview with John, Scott, Aaron, Bruce, Sammy and Janice

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
John: No i didnt get any good behavior this time .
Scott: YES I DID GET OFF ON GOOD BEHAVIOR. 21 DAYS GOOD TIME.
Aaron: I did get out early on good behavior I was released on march 28, 2013,
Bruce: I got off early due to when I caught my charge.
Sammy: Yes I did get off early due to good time.
Janice: In both jails you had to do something for good time ( work. School) unlike a men's jail where you can get off early for sitting on your butt

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
John: The MOST time you can get for good behavior rite now is 7.5 days off a month.
Scott: FOR GOOD BEHAVIOR YOU CAN GET 7.5 DAYS OFF.
Aaron: you can receive up to 6 months I believe im not sure exactly.
Bruce: The most for good behavior would be 7.5 days off a month
Sammy: The most time off would be 7 days
Janice: In state prison 10 days a month in county 7 a month

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
John: In order to get time off you need to attend programs like drug and alcohol abuse, or anger management. Or you could go to school.
Scott: YOU NEED TO AVOID CATCHING ANY TYPE OF TICKET OR INFRACTION WHILE THERE. YOU HAVE TO OBEY THE RULES AND KEEP TO YOURSELF. I SEEN ALOT OF PEOPLE LOOSE GOOD TIME.
Aaron: you have to follow the cos directions and you have to avoid fights and d boards. I have seen people lose good behavior because they either got into a fight or they mouthed off to the co or they got d boarded.
Bruce: In order to get your good time for good behavior you need to not catch a ticket or jail house infraction. If you do you loose your good time for the month.
Sammy: You need to basicly avoid getting,into any type of trouble that the,jail is against. Or any offenses to them on the inside.that means no tickets.
Janice: Yes if you fight or you get caught sleeping with another inmate, trying to escape, stealing talking in line, cursing writing gang letters, throwing gang signs or drugs/ drug paraphernalia. Things being given to you in visits... Any of these things can tKe away your good time
