Interview with Jessica, Joe Smith, Rod, Ben and Jade

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Jessica: I NEVER NEEDED ANY MEDICATIONS.
Joe Smith: Didn't apply to me
Rod: yes
Ben: yes i did but I didnt need any meds
Jade: no, we were given what they had.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Jessica: I NEVER NEEDED ANY MEDICATIONS
Joe Smith: Didn't need any.
Rod: nurse
Ben: if an inmate needed to take certain medication and nurse would come down from time to time to give inmates their meds
Jade: throught the nuse at certain med call times. and you had to be present when she was there or forfeit your meds which could result in consequences.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Jessica: I NEVER ABUSED ANY DRUGS. I DON'T THINK I WOULD HAVE DARED TRIED TO EITHER.
Joe Smith: not sure because I never witnessed anyone abuse any drugs.
Rod: unknown
Ben: well I would assume you would go tot he hole if caught using drugs however I did not witness any of this
Jade: Solitary confinement, yes I did wittness this. In fact while in Washington county jail,I served 60 days in solitary confinement for drug abuse.
