Interview with Karl, Christine and Drew

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Karl: I don't know, but as far as I know, no.
Christine: No , I was set to get out 3 days after Christmas . I had already completed most if my sentence as well as completed a program called ATP. An alcohol substance program that was mandatory . I went up in front of the judge on a conditions of release hearing 2 days before Christmas and was certain I would get out . I wanted to spend Christmas with my son . I didn't get out . I was devastated. I did everything I was supposed to and only had five days left of my sentence . The judge said that she would be going back on her original as sentence if she did . I guess she was trying to set an example .
Drew: Yes 5 months early was sentence to ten months. /.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Karl: N/A
Christine: I really don't know .
Drew: Good time is 50 percent off

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Karl: N/A
Christine: Just go to programs like school and work . Stay out of trouble don't get any write ups . Personally I never witnessed anyone getting out early for good behavior .
Drew: No I never knew anyone to loose time off. even if you got in fight. My understanding of time off is you only loose it if you pick up new charges in Jail.
