JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Nelson: Khaki bottoms, a short sleeve v neck top. It said
"Franklin County Jail 1 or Jail 2" If you needed
anything extra to stay warm, someone had to send
you in t-shirts and underwear. If you sleep too
long you wouldn't get your stuff laundered. Most
people would clean their clothes in the shower. Chris: none you have to wear all whites. no socks and
no undergarments. You had to wear their clothes Brad: Just whites socks underwear t shorts bocers or briefs

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Nelson: The shirt was tan colored with black letters. Chris: a unifrom that was tore up wether it fit you or
not - Green They had no other uniforms and I
dont think they were even clean half the times Brad: Your uniform was a two piece tan top and blue pants
made of a heavy denim material so they would last and
keep them clean
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Nelson: Your family has to send in extra t-shirts and
underwear. Chris: No just make sure you get your toilet paper that
was hard to hold onto Brad: Yes a good pair of sandals were.in high demand due

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Nelson: The women wear the same as the men. Chris: You never saw women they were separate Brad: No the same unforms for all
