Interview with Susan

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Susan: I recieved about 50 months of good time off my sentence

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Susan: It is broken down like this: You get 10 days each month for staying out of trouble. You get 2 days off for having a job You can get as many as 5 days each month for participating in classes. Most classes offered one day each month so you had to sign up for everything. Each class offered a specified amount of completion time. This could range anywhere from 1 to 15 days.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Susan: Honestly, you can lose good time for some petty stuff if you are not careful. The best advice I can give is to pay attention to what things certain officers are bugged by. You will always lose good time for certain things like fighting and bringing drugs in. Other things can get you in trouble if you are not mindful.
