Interview with Susan

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Susan: There are 2 separate buildings for women. Medium security has 5 dorms. Minimum has 2

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Susan: A dorm B dorm C dorm D dorm Segregation E dorm F Dorm Medical and PC units were held in segregation

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Susan: A abd B dorm are for unsentenced people who are awaiting trial. (Medium) C dorm is where most sentenced inmates reside (Medium) D dorm is also sentenced but need more supervision. Some have history of being discipline problems. (medium) Segregation...self explanatory (medium) E Dorm is for work release F dorm is minimum security

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Susan: In minimum security it can be tough to find a minute to yourself. The best part about minimum is that the windows can be opened and shut. It seems like such a trivial thing but they do not open in the medium building. The rooms are pretty big too with three windows in each room.
