JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Jorge: everyone wore only what was given by the jail Laura: Blue pants, blue smock top. White t-shirt, white
granny panties, white sports bra. Terry: None. All clothing was provided by the system, or you could buy
more (socks, underwear) from the commissary. Eva: Nothing at all only weekenders or
shirtiners can keep their socks and
underclothes but theyhad to match dcso

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Jorge: Yes I did it was a bright orange uniform both
pants and shirt Laura: see previous question. Terry: Yes,we had a set uniform. It was a standard issue orange jump
suit. People would generally get them a size larger in order to
smuggle things. Eva: The entire suit is navy blue for females
very stiff a white tshirt underwear sports
bra 2 pairs of socks and. It had to be
tucked in at all times and could not be

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Jorge: Oh yea the bright colored orange Laura: bras and panties towels Terry: The only thing that was in high demand were socks. Eva: No everyone gets the same clothes and
same amount extra under garments can

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Jorge: nope Laura: men wore orange. Women wore blue. Terry: I have no idea. It was not co-ed. Eva: Yes they were hazard orange while we
were in blue
