Interview with Roxie and Jaime
JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Roxie: Not from Butte County Jail, as I wasn't sentenced to
jail time.
Jaime: Yes. I did. Roughly 1 day off out of every 3 for good
behavoir.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Roxie: I am not sure about jail time. For prison
sentences, you can conceivably get half-time.
Jaime: 1 day out of every 3
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Roxie: I am unsure if the following is need for good time,
or to avoid getting more time, but: Obviously no
fighting; no contraband; no homosexuality; no
drugs/alcohol; do not disrespect the staff or refuse
to program.
Jaime: I witnessed someone lose oodtime for tattooing.
Things that can lose good time are drugs, sex, weapons,
fighting, causing problems for the guards, theft, making
pruno(jail house alcohol)
