Visitor Policy

Interview with Darlene, Ryan and Janis

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Darlene: You can get visit's every Tuesday for a half hour.
Ryan: Once a week.
Janis: Not sure.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Darlene: I never had any visit's myself but I know that visitors much check-in 45 minutes before the actual visit and sit there and wait.
Ryan: No, they have a form for the prisoner to fill out before you are allowed to see anyone. They are all contacted prior to visitation. Also, no visitors for the first 7 days.
Janis: N/A

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Darlene: The visiting area was a long table with aboout 8 phones on the inmate's and visitor's side with a thick, I would say bullet-proof glass between you and your visitor. The visit is over the phone and the inmate must enter there phone pin into the phone before the phone work's because visit's are also recorded and monitored.
Ryan: Pretty much just like the jail. It was in the middle of everything just outside the pods.
Janis: N/A
