JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior? Cesar: Yes I did. Well deserved. Tom: NO I DID NOT, HOWEVER THE AGENT SMITH THE PRIEST
THAT CAME IN TO SEE ME AND BROUGHT ME READING
CLASSES TOLD ME TO REMEMBER ROMANS 8:58 WE WILL WIN
TO ME GOOD BEHAVIOR IN THERE IS BEING OF A
POSITIVE MIND AND ACCEPTING THE RESPONSIBILITIES
OF YOUR ACTIONS. I DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MY COURT
DATE THERE FORE I WAS GUILTY. VERY SIMPLE Bruce: this time i was going to prison so i really didn't
have any county jail good time. i have before
gotten out early because of good time, it's
usually 1/3 for good time and it's not really hard
to keep it, if you are not causing trouble or
getting into trouble you got nothing to worry
about, its like this, say i got 3 months, then 1
month is good time so if i dont screw up then i
only got to do 2 months, and if i do screw up, say
horsing around or something then i might lose some
of it, 5 days or something, its really kind of
hard to loose all of your good time Jon: I did get off on early behavior but I also got
locked down in my cell for multiple days for trying
to make a chess board to teach my friend how to play
and you aren't allowed to do anything constructive
so I got my game thrown away.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior? Cesar: 50 percent at the time I was in. Not sure if
that is still the case. Tom: I THINK BUT AM NOT CERTAIN THAT TIME OFF FOR GOOD
BEHAVIOR IS THAT YOU GET 2 FOR 1 AS FAR AS YOUR
TIME GOES. IN MY MIND THE SPOKANE COUNTY JAIL
WOULD NOT BE MUCH DIFFERENT THAN DOING TIME AT A
MAJOR PENNITENTORY. SOME SAY IT IS EASIER TO DO
THERE THAN IN THE SPOKANE COUNTY JAIL. Bruce: i've heard as much as half in prison, but it's only
1/3 in county jail as far as i know Jon: one third of the time off
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior? Cesar: Stay out of trouble. There are many actions,
don't
do drugs, or try smuggling them in, no fighting
with staff or others. Cause no trouble Tom: AVOID FIGHTING, NEGATIVE THOUGHTS, ACTIONS, DEEDS Bruce: hollering out to another inmate after lockdown,
horse play with your cell mate or other inmates if
you are in the pods, refusing directives from the
guards, fighting, being loud, bullying, and that
kind of thing will get your good time taken, i
have lost good time on occasion for fighting, and
for horse playing Jon: I did not witness anyone lose time off there good
behavior but I heard and read that if you got to
many infractions and the jail administrator didnt
like you they would take time off.
