Interview with Cesar, Tom, Bruce and Jon

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Cesar: Ugly Orange jumpsuit, underwear, socks, and sandals.
Tom: ARE YOU SERIES? WHAT TYPES OF CLOTHES WERE WORN? ORANGE, BLUE.
Bruce: nothing, you got issued a jump suit once a week and socks and underwear twice a week, you are not allowed anything personal
Jon: No outside clothing was allowed inside the jail you were required to wear the set uniform.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Cesar: Ugly Orange jumpsuit, underwear, socks, and sandals
Tom: ORANGE, SOCKS, FLIP FLOPS
Bruce: you get a jump suit, usually torn and ill fitting most of the time all the snaps dont work, a pair of pink briefs too big that are not really clean and a mismatched pair of pink socks that you either cant get one or both on over your ankel or one or both have no elastic left in them and are big enough to wear as a hat, the laundry is done by inmates, and the less they have to do the more free time they have so they stuff the machines full as possible and nothing really gets clean because it packed so tight together
Jon: The Uniform consisted of a 2 Jumpsuit2 that had SCJ on the back and the colors varied week to week, 2 pairs of orange tube socks and 2 pairs of underware either whitey tighteys or boxers depending on your luck.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Cesar: Not that I'm aware of. Everyone had the same clothing.
Tom: I ALWAYS LIKE MY ORANGE JUMP SUIT CLEANED AND PRESSED, AS YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MIGHT HAVE WORN IT BEFORE, AND IF I DID NOT SEE THE CELAFANE FROM THE CLEANERS I WOULD NOT WERE IT.
Bruce: no everything is the same for every one and nothing special
Jon: They often ran out of socks and underwear and lacked a lot of winter blankets during the cold season.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Cesar: I don't believe so.
Tom: NOT MUCH ONLY IN COLOR AND DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF YOUR CRIME OF COURSE
Bruce: sure the women get girl underwear, t shirts and two piece pants and shirts like hospital scrubs, green or brown
Jon: The women has a scrub type shirt and pants instead of a jumpsuit.
