Meals

Interview with Scott, Gary and Armando

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Scott: you get one breakfast one lunch an one dinner
Gary: WE ATE 3 MEALS PER DAY
Armando: You receive three meals per day.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Scott: i rate the food average because its hard to eat certain meals and you dont have a choice about what you want to eat whats served is what you get you cant say i dont want this so the best way is try to trade it for a food that you like
Gary: CLARKSBURG THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, WITH NO TASTE AND VERY SMALL PORTIONS. IT TOOK ONLY FIVE MINUTES TO EAT THE MEALS IF THAT LONG. MONTGOMERY PRE RELEASE CENTER HAD BETTER TASTING FOOD AND MUCH MORE IN PORTION SIZE. IF ANYTHING WAS LEFT OVER YOU COULD GO BACK FOR SECONDS AND THIRDS, PLUS THERE WAS SALAD BAR.
Armando: I would rate the food a 7 out of ten. Most of the food arrived cold when it was supposed to be hot. No taste at all. No seasoning on any if the food. The drinks were watered down with no flavor at all. The only to look forward to was commissary.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Scott: my less faviorte is tuna my favorite is baked chichen so i would give my lunch for the dinner baked chicken
Gary: I LIKE THE SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS, SALISBURY STEAK AND CHICKEN FRIED STEAK AND THEN BAKED CHICKEN. FISH WAS TOO BREADED AND NOT ENOUGH VEGETABLES AND FRESH FRUIT.
Armando: I guess my favorite food would have been any meat that they served. My least favorite would have been the pudding.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Scott: ther are no other snaks offered outside of the meals commissary was okay very expensive they sell items from the regular grocery store add a dollar or more for that item the commissary staff was okay at times
Gary: I NEVER GOT COMMISSARY BECAUSE THEY LOST MY MONEY FOR COMMISSARY SOMEHOW AND AM STILL OWED 80 DOLLARS FROM CLARKSBURG. THE COMMISSARY HAD A LOT OF SWEETS ON THE LIST AND NO HEALTHY CHOICES LIKE FRUIT.
Armando: There were no other snacks offered outside of meals unless you bought them off of commissary. Commissary was nothing but junk food that was way too expensive to pay for but if you don't get commissary then you have to eat what they give you.
