Jeremy: When you first arrive at the jail everyone is issued two sets of the standard bright orange 2- piece uniform. You also receive 3 underwears, 3 pairs of socks, a pair of sandals (hopefully your size), a towel, a wash cloth, a basic hygiene pack which includes a small soap, a miniature toothbrush, a small toothpaste and a roll of toilet paper. You also receive a bedroll but no bed, but includes an army blanket, two bed sheets, and a pillowcase but no pillow. If overcrowding is not a major problem when you arrive at the jail (and it rarely isn't), then you'll probably be issued a bunk bed with a semi- comfortable used mattress, otherwise get ready to sleep on the floor, on a mattress hopefully, until a bunk bed and mattress space opens up.
