JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Maria: send money to them or they will loses weight Tommy: a few bucks wont hurt dont kick a man when hes
down Mark: Put money on their books, commissary items are
in high demand, it is the monetary system of
jail--bet with it, trade it, it has valure Marilyn: First of all i wouldn't wish jail on anyone, but if
you have to go then my advise would be bailout and
if that isn't a option then mind your own business
pray you get good cloths a good cellmate. Rafael: To show them support and write them a letter if they get a
chance. Blair: The more communication you have, the better off the inmate is. I
would have lost my mind in there if I did not have my family. I
could not find anyone to have an educated conversation with.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Maria: dont get in trouble Tommy: chalk it up you aint their for friends Mark: Run Marilyn: to have lots of $$ on there books so they can buy
commisary every week. to mind there own business
and try and get a job within the jail so you don't
have to be stuck in your pod 24/7 Rafael: There's no advise just roll with it mined your own business and
don't walk in like you roll the place. Blair: I would tell them to respect others and their property. Do not trust
anyone, not even the staff. I would tell them to to keep close to
those outside so they do not lose themselves.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Marilyn: i have been to coalinga jail in coalinga,ca I've
been to state prison in chowchilla and in corona California Rafael: Glendale ca. County jail. Blair: None
