JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)? Blake: Orange. Tyra: jail attire. Greg: None other than underwear I think.
Eric: Nothing was allowed, until you were in minimum
security and then you were allowed shoes if they
were appropriate.
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you. Blake: Orange. Tyra: yes. red and pink jail duds. pants, t shirt,
some sort of shirt that went over that. Greg: Orange on Orange. With orange slipper like shoes
that wouldn't stay on your feet too well
Eric: Main Jail:
Two Pair Pink Socks
One Pair Orange Slip on Shoes
Two Pair Pink Boxers
Two Orange T Shirts
Two Pairs of Elastic Banded Orange Pants
One Orange Smock
Barracks:
Same for underclothes (socks, underwear)
1 pair of boots
Two pair of blue jeans
two blue collared long sleeve
two blue t shirt
one blue sweatshirt
one blue windbreaker
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned? Blake: No options. Tyra: no Greg: No
Eric: If it is winter make sure to ask for a
sweatshirt upon entering the minimum security,
and also a windbreaker, as they can be hard to
get after intake. Otherwise no
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women? Blake: No, other then undergarments. Tyra: I really didn't notice. I think the men wore
jumpsuits Greg: I never saw any of the women Eric: Yes, women in main jail wore red instead of
orange, and in the barracks wore yellow instead
of blue.
