Good Behavior

Interview with Blake, Tyra, Greg and Eric

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Blake: I Got off early on good behavior. It was a sad day. Made lot of friends!
Tyra: I don't know what the reason was. But I was released early with "sentence completed"
Greg: Yes I got my sentence cut in half.
Eric: No i did not. i did get out 1 day early for completing some schooling.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Blake: I got half time cut for good behavior.
Tyra: NA
Greg: I'm not sure how the system works. Just stay out of trouble and it's automatically "Good behavior".
Eric: I do not know, but for schooling it is 10 days.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Blake: I tried to mainly keep from getting caught breaking any rules. This worked out pretty well.
Tyra: NA
Greg: I did witness several inmates lose time off for good behavior, But it was for something they had done while working in the Kitchens not while being in the barracks.
Eric: No i didnt, as you are already awarded half time for overcrowding, it is called goodbehavior time. you are awarded it before your behavior is seen. I saw only people lose goodtime for violations of behavioral codes such as smoking and fighting.
