Sentencing

Interview with Blake, Tyra, Greg and Eric

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Blake: I was only sentenced three months.
Tyra: 7 days, did 2 and sentence completed.
Greg: Fifteen Days, Served Six and then was released early.
Eric: 6 months with half time. 3 months.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Blake: I was in a holding cell for about 14 hours. It was dirty, small, packed.
Tyra: it was horrible. i arrived on a turn in bases and was placed in that filthy cell (food everywhere on the floor, including bloody kotex) and held there for over 13.5 hours. As I understand it, this is illegal but common practice for Placer Sheriff's
Greg: It was pretty much like you imagine, Concrete wall's, Cold metal benches. A bunch of other people crowding around you all generally in a pissed off mood, Just waiting to get transferred.
Eric: I spent a few hours in booking, and it was not pleasant but seemed to be what would be expected of a holding sell, and was familiar as I had been there before for previous arrests. It was not as crowded as usual so I was put in I tank quickly.
