Traci: Downtown Tarrant County

Traci: 4 days ago

JM: How many times did you visit?
Traci: two

JM: How do you go about making an appointment to see an inmate?
Traci: Go the administrative desk; and then to the desk that says Jail

JM: How long did check-in process take?
Traci: 15 to 20 minutes

JM: Were the guards accommodating?
Traci: Everyone was very accommodating; my brother was not at the jail; had a heart attack and was at JPS Hospital by MedStar. No one could tell me what he was taken to the hospital for; but I knew if he was taken by medstar it was serious. I paniced and it was evident. I was directed to Captain Gravitt, who was very sympathic and I could feel the empathy. I have never been any place where I was treated more cordial. I thank God for the caring people at Tarrant County Jail.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Traci: very cordial and helpful

JM: How long was your visit? Did the guards ever allow you to take extra time?
Traci: 10 to 15 minutes. No extra time was requested.

JM: What was the parking situation like?
Traci: I had no problem finding parking.

JM: What advice would you offer to somebody who is going to visit an inmate in this jail?
Traci: Go in with a positive and cordial attitude.
